The guide
Sponsored content policy
This guide accepts clearly labelled sponsored content under narrow rules. This page publishes them.
Tsim Sha Tsui Stay is an independent guide with a defined subject, budget stays in Kowloon, and it funds itself in part through clearly labelled sponsored content. This page defines what that means, for readers and for advertisers.
The rules
- Every sponsored article carries a visible label on the page itself, placed before the text, using the words "sponsored" or "partnered content".
- Sponsored links carry the appropriate markup for paid placements, in line with common disclosure practice and search engine guidance.
- Sponsorship never touches the price bands, fares, timetables or verdicts of the editorial guides; the editorial policy governs those lines absolutely.
- Advertisers must be relevant to travellers: accommodation platforms, transport and transfer services, travel insurance, connectivity, currency services and similar. Gambling, pharmacy and unrelated finance are declined.
- Sponsored articles never imitate the guide’s own pages: no fake price surveys, no invented comparisons.
What the desk does not sell
Coverage of the guesthouses, hostels or hotels themselves is not sold, removal of a documented trade-off is not sold, and links inside the fare tables or the price bands of pages such as the A21 guide are not sold. The about page describes the guide’s scope, and enquiries are sent to the address on the contact page.
